How can we help?

A complete overview of the BlissfulBookings system and explanations of all features — by category. Search by keyword or browse.

Getting started

Bring your salon over automatically and take your first booking within 15 minutes.

What is BlissfulBookings?

BlissfulBookings is a complete booking system for beauty and wellness salons: 24/7 online bookings, a smart calendar, automatic reminders, front-desk payments and invoicing, marketing, team management, reports, and customer support with built-in live translation — all in one place. The booking page works in several languages; which ones are offered depends on the salon’s country.

Bring your salon over automatically

You don’t have to enter your services one by one. Click “Start for free” and paste your website address into the field. The system reads your site, finds your services with their prices (and durations, where listed) and groups them into categories — the names stay exactly as they are on your site. You’ll see the first result in about 2 minutes. No website? An Instagram or Facebook profile works too: we draft your services from your posts, and you add the prices yourself.

Moving from another booking system?

Instead of your website, paste your current booking link. We bring over the same services, with their names word for word. When you move from Timma, we also copy your opening hours and the times already booked for the next 60 days — they are blocked in your new calendar straight away, so nobody can book the same slot twice. In this step we copy only the times, never your clients’ names or contact details. You can bring over clients and past bookings later in the portal’s Import section: from Timma with your Timma Pro account, from Zenwel with a CSV file. Once your new booking page is live, switch off online booking in your old system: that way every new booking lands in one calendar. Moving over from Fresha or Booksy isn’t automatic yet — for those, use your website address.

Review and activate

Before your account is created, you see a preview: every treatment we found, grouped by category. If it all looks right, click “Create account and continue” and set a password — no credit card needed. A salon brought over from Timma gets a live booking page the moment the account is created. Services from any other source stay as drafts until you’ve reviewed them in the portal and clicked “Publish everything and go live”.

Set up services and prices

You can edit, hide and add to your imported services in the portal at any time. Starting without a link? Add your services, durations and prices by hand. You can group services into categories and choose which employees provide them.

Share your booking link

Add a booking button to your website, Instagram bio, and Google profile. You can also transfer your existing booking link via the form on the homepage.

Online booking

Clients book themselves, at any time of day — without calling.

How the client books

The client picks a service and an available time, then confirms the booking — the system assigns the staff member and room for that time. The booking appears in your calendar straight away and the client gets a confirmation by email. An SMS confirmation is also sent if you have switched on paid SMS notifications in Settings.

24/7 booking

The system accepts bookings at night and on weekends too — you don’t have to answer the phone yourself. Available times take opening hours, room occupancy and existing bookings into account, and — if the staff schedule is switched on — employee shifts as well.

Cancellation and changes

Using the link in their confirmation, the client can move the booking to a new time, as long as the appointment is further away than the notice period set in Settings (24 hours by default). Clients cannot cancel on their own: they contact you, and you cancel the booking in the portal. The new time shows up in your calendar straight away; to get an alert on your phone, switch on push notifications under Notifications.

Calendar and schedule

All staff, rooms, and equipment in one smart view.

Dashboard — today's work sheet

The Dashboard shows today in the order the working day runs: when the salon is open today, who is on shift and when their breaks are, who is coming for the first time, clients on the last session of their package today (red NB!), unconfirmed visits, the next 10 clients, and the whole day with one client per row. A returning client who buys treatments one at a time has a grey “per visit” label on the row. Click a row to open the booking window: there you confirm the visit, record the payment and add a comment. If a booking has a comment, the client's name is shown in bold on the row. Owners and staff see the same page; staff can confirm only their own visits.

Smart calendar

The Schedule has three views: Calendar shows the selected day by room, List shows the same day’s bookings as a list, and the staff roster shows employee shifts by week or month. In Calendar, drag a booking to a new time — the system does not allow double bookings.

Staff, rooms, and equipment

Manage the resources that bookings depend on — for example, a specific room or piece of equipment. Availability takes all required resources into account at once.

Working hours and shifts

You set employee shifts in the staff roster view of the Schedule; the “Copy this roster forward…” button copies the roster you are viewing to the next period. If the staff schedule is switched on, available booking times follow the shifts. If it is switched off, available times are limited only by opening hours and room occupancy. The gap between two shifts on the same day is the employee’s break, for example lunch. The Dashboard lists each employee’s breaks for today under their name, with how long they last; if an employee has blocked their own time in the calendar, the reason is shown too.

Reminders and no-show

Fewer no-shows — automatic email reminders.

SMS and email reminders

The system automatically sends the client a confirmation and a reminder by email before the booking. They also go out by SMS if you switch on paid SMS notifications in Settings. This keeps your calendar full and reduces no-shows caused by forgetfulness.

Deposit and no-show protection

In Settings you can switch on a booking fee that the client pays when booking: a percentage of the price, a fixed amount or the full price — from all clients or only from new ones. The client pays it by card when booking and pays the rest at the salon. The fee is only charged once the platform’s payment service is switched on; until then, booking works as usual.

Payments and checkout

Record payments at the front desk, sell over the counter without a booking, and create invoices — all in the same system.

Payments at the front desk

When the client pays at the salon, record the payment in the booking window: in Indonesia card, cash or QRIS, elsewhere card, cash or bank transfer. The card payment itself runs through your salon’s own terminal — the system records the payment and links it to the booking and the client. You can also create an invoice from the same sale.

Products and checkout

On the client card (the Clients section), the “+ Sale” button lets you record an extra purchase without a booking: pick a service or package from the catalogue, or add a custom line with your own name, quantity and price — that is also how you sell care products. Money received shows in the reports by payment method, together with service sales. The system has no product catalogue or stock tracking.

Marketing and reviews

Bring clients back and collect reviews automatically.

Campaigns

Send targeted offers by email or SMS (SMS is paid). Pick a ready-made audience — such as recent clients, clients to win back, or regulars — or build your own by number of visits, amount spent, last visit, time between visits, gender, or whether the client is a local or a tourist.

Review collection

After a visit the system automatically sends the client a request to rate it (1–5 stars). Every client gets the same request — unhappy clients are not filtered out. You see the ratings in the portal’s Reviews section.

Live chat and customer support

Free, full-featured customer support with real-time translation — both ways.

Visitor view (end-user)

Once you switch on the chat bubble (the Widget section of the portal), it appears in the bottom-right corner of your booking page: “How can we help?”. With the widget code you can add it to your own website too. Before the chat starts, the visitor leaves their name, email and phone number. They write in their own language and get replies in that language.

AI auto-reply and human takeover

If nobody at your salon replies within 90 seconds, the AI replies based on your salon’s services and information. You can take over the conversation at any time: reply yourself, or switch the AI off for that conversation in the conversation header. To switch the AI responder on or off for the whole salon, go to the Widget section.

Real-time translation both ways

The visitor’s message is shown to you translated into your portal language; the original is visible above the translation. Your reply is automatically translated into the visitor’s language. You do not need to know foreign languages.

Owner view — conversations inbox

The portal’s Chat section gathers every conversation in one inbox: you see the visitor’s name and language, and whether the AI or you are replying. A conversation waiting for a reply shows how many minutes the client has been waiting. New messages appear in real time.

Team and permissions

Manage employees, working hours, pay, and access.

Employee management

You add an employee in the Times section: name, email, hourly rate and skills, meaning the services they perform. You set working hours in the Schedule’s staff roster view. In the portal and the staff app an employee sees both their own and the whole salon’s schedule and bookings. On the Dashboard an employee sees the same work sheet for today as the owner, but can confirm only their own visits.

Pay and commission

On the employee’s card (the Employees section) you fill in a pay line each month: base pay, commissions and overtime. You enter the amounts yourself — the system does not calculate commission from rates. The Working hours section calculates hours worked and pay from the hourly rate.

Access permissions and roles

You create accounts in the Accounts section. Each account has one of two roles: owner/admin or employee. An employee’s menu has Dashboard, Schedule, Bookings, Clients, Working hours and Notifications — they do not see the pay, settings or accounts sections. A new account gets a temporary password, which the employee changes at their first login.

Reports and analytics

Make data-driven decisions — revenue, bookings, and clients over the period you choose.

Revenue and sales

Track booked value, money received by payment method, and revenue by day, service and employee. Day boundaries take your time zone into account. The revenue overview is under Reports, on the “Revenue” tab; the “Day” tab shows one day’s till and visits.

Customer behavior

View visit frequency, return rate, and customer value. Use this data in marketing and segmentation.

Portal, account, and languages

Log in, manage settings, and serve clients in several languages.

Portal login

Log in to the portal with your email address and password. In the portal, you can manage the calendar, services, staff, payments, marketing, chats, and reports.

Languages

The languages on the booking page depend on the salon’s country: the salon’s own language, English, and the languages most spoken by clients who live there (in Estonia, for example, Estonian, English, Russian, Ukrainian and Finnish). Live chat translates from whatever language the visitor writes in and replies in that language. The salon portal is available in Estonian, English and Indonesian.

Settings

In Settings you change the salon profile (name, description, currency, logo and social media links), the booking rules (for example the notice period and the online booking discount), your invoice details and the portal language. Opening hours are in the Times section. Changes take effect on the booking page straight away.
